Staying in this beautifully restored late Victorian era B&B was a great experience. the hosts were extremely welcoming, helpful and genuinely interested in making our stay as comfortable as possible. the convenient location close to gardens, city center, sky tower, and in-store made it an ideal place to base ourselves for exploring. the room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and elegantly decorated. the free afternoon wine and beer in the communal lounge was a nice touch.
The breakfast served could have been better.

The breakfast was tasty and it was nice to have something included in the price of the stay. The location was convenient and close to many tourist attractions. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The room was small and cramped. The decor was outdated and could use some updating.

During my stay at Braemar On Parliament St Bed & Breakfast, I experienced the most incredible service. One evening, I caught a cold and the owners, John and Mel, went above and beyond to take care of me. They brought me tea and coffee to my room, ensuring I was comfortable and well taken care of. Their warm-heartedness and generosity truly made my stay exceptional. The room itself was stunning, with a comfortable queen-sized bed that provided the perfect night's sleep. Additionally, John's extensive knowledge of New Zealand and Auckland was invaluable, as he was always willing to share his insights and recommendations. I cannot recommend Braemar On Parliament St highly enough. I will definitely be returning if I find myself in Auckland again.
